About

Dr. Dipesh Patel is an HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist specialising in Tic Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and the psychological and neuropsychological aspects of neurological conditions, including Multiple Sclerosis.

He works clinically at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) in London and is an MPhil/PhD candidate at the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, where his research examines the overlap between Tic Disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, including presentations sometimes described as Tourettic OCD.

His clinical approach draws on behavioural psychology and neuroscience, integrated where appropriate with cognitive and psychodynamic approaches. This reflects a working principle that interventions should be individually formulated around the processes underlying each person’s difficulties.
